Lego MOC: French Street

After rearranging my six modular Lego buildings I ended up placing Parisian Restaurant off to the side. Since I only have one corner, Grand Emporium, I had to pick one building that could stand on the opposite side. The idea was to have some space to put the Ghostbusters set once it arrives and still have it included in the city layout.

So I had one fairly boring wall of the Parisian Restaurant to look at. Then I decided to build a street to connect the parts together better. The street itself is made from Collectible Minifigure stands, which I own a ton of. The pavement is designed after the typical layout used in the modulars. Luckily I had bought an extra street lamp when I put together Market Street.

Since it was to be aligned with Parisian Restaurant, I wanted a French theme to it. Since there is an artist’s apartment in the house, I set up a portrait stand, so typical of city streets everywhere. The CMF Artist was a given, and to complete my set of Frenchmen I got the Mime and the Musketeer.

The paintings of famous movie stars and various notable buildings were simply printed on decal paper. The traffic lamps were just a simple little build from parts I had already. Besides the figures, I had to order a bunch of tiles for this.

Well, it’s not much but it’s a neat little diorama and once I get Ecto-1 onto that street it will look really packed. Looking forward to it!
