Universal Game Crossover Chart, now with 15% more crossovers

Well, of course the last edition of the Universal Game Crossover Chart wasn’t complete. I’ve spent the last few months improving it further. Notable additions include the Wai Wai series at Konami (connecting a whole bunch of new titles), a whole lot of Data East titles that actually crossed over with SNK at one point, the addition of the Queen’s Gate series which pulls together girls from all kinds of games including Arc Systems’ fighters, more Sega stuff and generally new updates here and there.

The point of this chart, for those of you new here, is to track all the instances of franchise crossovers, where characters not normally appearing in each other’s universe do so. I’m only counting where characters or creatures actually show up, not when costumes, pictures or other references appear. Adaptations of characters to fit in the new universe are accepted. For example, Sackboy being able to dress up as Ryu doesn’t mean there’s a crossover between Little Big Planet and Street Fighter, but Sackboy appearing as a playable (blocky) character in 3D Dot Game Heroes does.
